Why Scootboots?
There are a variety of options available for hoof protection for the barefoot horse. Scootboots simple design make them easy to put on with no mallets, cables or Velcro to fuss with. The open design allows for debris to leave the boot, and for ventilation after getting wet. This is a key feature that allows these boots to work so well in desert conditions. A rigid but flexible sole allows for shock absorption even when navigating rough terrain. Making them a perfect boot for transitioning out of shoes, rehabilitation, and daily riding.
After years of searching for a rugged hoof boot that provides my own horse with protection for the harsh terrain of the Southwest in 2018 I discovered Scootboot. I have utilized and tested these boots for years on my own horses. I am now a stockist that has helped dozens of clients successfully use these boots from rehabilitation to distance riding.
